Yet countries such as Russia, Brazil, China and India may offer even bigger market potential. While it’s estimated that these countries will account for about 60% of world GDP by 2030, under 10% of European exporters sell to these markets, according to Enterprise Europe Network Southeast.
“Missions for Growth,” championed by European Commission Vice-President Antonio Tajani, are designed to help European businesses profit from fast growing emerging markets.
The Missions usually coincide with big international brokerage events, which provide a forum to meet and discuss business ventures with major companies and entrepreneurs in the market.
